Eclipse

I went and saw Eclipse on Friday. It was really boring. There was like way more fighting and romance and everything. It was just boring. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner do nothing for me absolutely nothing, people are always saying what chemistry they all have together? I must have been watching another movie because I felt nothing. I really don't know what else to say other then that. There were little girls giggling behind me...it was really just god awful. Seriously girls none of the boys in the movie are that pretty. Grow some pubic hair and grow the fuck up cause your making this movie so much worse.

Hey all I've been away from this for awhile as life has been pretty sucky these last couple of months but things are better now and so I will resume this blog. Should post something about Eclipse which I'm gonna go see on friday (most likely) how will it fair? tune in to find out.

Today though I watched His Name Was Jason which was like a bio on all the Friday the 13th movies it was really interesting if your interested in the franchise, it explained all the best kills and how they were done they sort of did a character eval on Jason they spoke with a lot of the actors who were in the Jason movies over time it was really cool. Next times its on tv people should check it out

sooo tired

This week is just dragging I swear friday couldn't come fast enough. Other then that things are good though just working and seeing Ryan...except yesterday

Helen got a new STEP student his name is Zach and yesterday he was talking to Helen, and I decided I don't like him. Helen asked if he might consider staying for Fall/Winter and he said

" No I don't work when I'm in school"

Helen asks "how do you make money?!"

Zach answers " Well I save up money for school in the summer and my dad pays for my car insurance/gas and because my mom is on disability I get 250 a month from the government"

he goes on to say" I couldn't work and go to school I'd only get like B's like maybe a B+ I have grad school to think about"

and its not just what he said it's how he said it which wasn't very nicely kind of like it was beneath him it irritated me. I work hard for B's Zach, and I'm at the point in my school career where I've realized I will never be able to afford Grad school I can't even dream about it anymore. So thanks for taking a shit all over my life Zach.

*cue Rocky music*

Only instead of clips of me working out it'll be me turning down cookies, drinking water, having a salad, and putting skim milk and sweetener in my coffee instead of cream and sugar. That right peeps I'm on a diet, not sure how much weight I would like to lose but I'd like to be noticeably thinner by July. So 10 pounds by July? I think I can do it! with help I've instructed Ryan what we cannot (ie our favourite food pizza) I know its very sad but he knows I still love him. He love me too!! enough to put up with my crappy crappy diet moods and listen to me whine about hungriness wish me luck!

Hot Tub Time Machine

I know it's been ages since I last updated, but I've bee busy with exams and things. Exams are over now though!

Ryan and I went to Hot Tub Time Machine on Monday. It was pretty good, everything was pretty much in the title. I really enjoyed it and think it was worth the money I paid but don't go to think movie thinking theres more to it then just a hot tub tine machine because there isn't.

Other then Hot Tub Time Machine? Well I've started reading Zodiac Unmasked by Robert Graysmith so far so good but I'm only like 30 pages in. I'm downloading The Little Mermaid I've seen it and I won't be reviewing it I just wanna watch it. So there might not be anything until I finish Zodiac Unmasked

Shutter Island

On Thursday I went and saw Shutter Island with Ashley and Ayla, it was good, really really good actually. Maybe not Leonardo Dicaprio's work but he was still pretty good and it had a great twist ending I can't really say more cause it would spoil it but...excellent!

The Bounty Hunter/Looney Toons Exhibit

Yesterday Ryan and I spent the day out...it was really nice. The first thing we went and saw was the looney toons exhibit at the WAG, if your thinking of going I'd reccomend you don't. It's boring. I mean I was expecting more then there was it was basically some cells on the wall and a big screen showing old looney toons cartoons, which was kind of nice but it's like 13 bucks a person, and you don't even get to see the rest of the gallery you only get into the looney toons exhibit. The cartoons are nice and everything they show the rarer ones but it's not worth the 13 bucks.

Next we went and saw The Bounty Hunter with Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler it was alright the trailer gives a pretty clear picture of the movie so if you saw the trailer and were like "meh" maybe the movie is better...its not I mean I liked it and its not like they showed the best parts in the trailer but I mean its Jen and Gerard arguing and then they make up ta da! it was cute none the less. If your looking for something mind numbing thats easy to follow I say go see it

Alice in Wonderland

I saw Alice in Wonderland on the weekend. It was quite good, as everyone expected. Tim Burton usually does good job with his movies though. It was everything other Tim Burton movies are dark visually lovely to look at. Full of all of the actors he always puts in his movies (I'm looking at you Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter) Anne Hathaway plays the White Queen, shes pretty good. I don't really like her that much but she did a good job, but what was up with the eyebrows seriously? Mia Wasikowska (Alice) was really great I loved her when she played Sophie in In Treatment. It took me a minute to figure out who she was and was pleasantly surprised once I did. Shes a really great actress and I was a little worried she wouldn't be able to pull it off but she really surprised me. I won't doubt her again. Johnny Depp was obviously delightfully weird. The March Hare was hilarious! my only real beef with the movie was Danny Elfman's soundtrack does the guy just reuse stuff from movie to movie? he needs to come up with some new stuff seriously.

Poverty...that is me

I am officially handing out resumes to everyone who even looks at me. I need a job people. A second job. Evenings and weekends starting in April. My car is broken my loan is out of control and I need to save for school/pay for insurance/pay for my now outrageously expensive drivers license/pay off my maxed out cards I am still working for the government but that will only cover some of the costs of my life, like maybe 2 of them. I applied at the MLCC today after giving my resume an overhaul. This second job will make it impossible to see anyone friends/boyfriends/anyone other then coworkers. I can only hope that these people can understand and still continue to love me. Wish me luck on the job hunt!

Epic Business Ovah!

I have been terribly busy for the last several weeks...well like 2 weeks two isn't several right? Anyways I have been busy because of exams I have had many of then since coming back to school. They are over now so I can do things thats waste my time again (like blogging) other then that just work, school, boy. I'm getting a second job soon though well I'm going to try to go a second job. For the MLCC think I'll do really well there, assuming you know I get in I mean I have both retail and office experience so I can work both levels of MLCC I could work in their office (preferably not) or I could work in the stores which is what I'd rather do because I really need evenings. I have things I need to pay/buy and I think the MLCC is an excellent fit for me :) I'll be applying next week.

I will be so glad when Saturday is over all this planning for the funeral is stressful. I had to dye my hair, I have to get it cut I have to buy clothes figure out how we are all going to get there where we're going afterwards....blaahhhh I want it to be over.

New Moon

I finally watched New Moon I didn't really like it and I'm really glad I didn't pay to see it. Yes the boys are pretty but neither of them can really act, especially Robert Patterson (is that how his name is spelled?) Yes Taylor Lautner is a dream boat but he's not much better...for that matter Kristen Stewart is no gem she's done better...way better. I was glad to see she toned down that jittery nervous thing she used to do, it was annoying. I don't blame her as much though as Pants...er I mean Bella wasn't written as a very defined character. I hope they improve over the next movie. I'm not holding my breath though seeing as its coming out less then one year after the second movie...I doubt I'll pay to see that one either.

Reading Week

It's the last day of reading week! and what did I do? absolutely nothing! I worked like once, and stayed home the rest of the time. I didn't really read anything or see anything but tonight I'm going to watch New Moon finally. I didn't want to see it in theaters and its like out on video in a couple of weeks so I just downloaded it. Yay lame girl movies!

Friday

I don't have much to say this week...I didn't really do much. Ummm lets see tomorrow I'm going to this thing at the forks with my friends today I am forcing Ryan to watch girl movies...that is all.

Random thinkings

Valentines day is coming up...I hate valentines day...I loathe it and yet I have to do something for it/on it or else my relationship is deemed by others as horrible. I don't want anything and yet I know I'm going to receive something. Because if Ryan gets me nothing he's deemed a crappy boyfriend by our peers because just because I say I don't want anything doesn't mean I don't want anything right?! wrong I don't want anything this holiday is a sham, a sham I say. Ugh I have no idea what to get Ryan...boys are so hard to shop for grrr. I was thinking the Cyanide and Happiness book, but noooo thats not romantic and therefore not valentiney enough. I could prance around in some lingerie but I don't really want to do that. It's pointless he's going to look at it and be like wow your so hot and the lingerie will be off in like what 2 seconds "wow you appreciated that for like 2 minutes it was obviously 100 dollars well spent" *sarcasm*

On another completely different topic I think I found the new glasses I want :D they are pink and obviously adorable. I put them on and thought I looked silly at first but then took a close look...damn they looked cute on a second look.

Darkly Dreaming Dexter

I finished the first Dexter book! Twas excellent I'm going to have to go out and buy the others. Micheal C Hall plays a wonderful Dexter the entire time I was reading in my head Dexter sounded like Micheal C Hall. The chick who plays Deb though? what were they thinking? she looks nothing like her description in the book although she is a good actress and plays the character very well. It's just in the book Deb is smokin' and in the show Deb looks like a 13 year old boy with a squirrel face. Anyways back to studying! I'll spare you my review of the fifth edition of Sensation and Perception by Hugh J Foley and Margaret W Matlin.

The Book of Eli

Ryan and I went and saw the The Book of Eli on saturday why am I only blogging about it now? cause I totally suck. Anyways its a good movie, but the trailer is kind of misleading, or I thought so anyways. I thought it was going to be some action movie but not so much. It is a little slow but its worth it just to find out the ending. Mila Kunis is awesome I know some people might not see this cause they can't take Mila seriously as an actress what with her playing Jackie all those years and now with her playing Meg. Don't let these past roles put you off cause shes really good. I don't have to tell you Denzel was good obviously everyone knows he's a good actor, which is why I mention Mila over Denzel because I'm sure people saw her and was like Jackie Burkehart no thanks.

On another note I'm reader the first Dexter book its great so far. I'll blog more about it when I finish it! Later World!

Tardiness *tsk tsk*

So I was late for my class this morning...quite late, so late in fact that I am not going. I am now at the U of W with nothing to do as this was my only reason for coming in the first place. I'm not sure how I'm going to go get the notes. I know a girl in my class I'm hoping that she went to class today and would be willing to let me borrow her notes. I also promised the boy that I'd have coffee with him today so now I can't even go home. I have to stay until 10:30. I also forgot my cell phone this morning so now I can't even call anyone. Ugh. I'm booored. :(

Go Go Clean Basement!

Today, my parents and I cleaned the basement. It was a disgusting and glorious experience. Disgusting because my brother has been in charge of the basement forever and the kid never cleans, and glorious because I found a bunch of my old books. It was decided that we need a new bookcase so I can take all those boxes full of books out of the corner and we can just put a bookcase there instead of piles of boxes, makes sense no? It was also a junk adventure where looked inside buckets and boxes and tried to figure out why exactly we kept this in the first place, and what the hell was is for? Gosh it was fun.

The Lovely Bones

I finished The Lovely Bones on Sunday and I meant to blog about it sooner but you know I'm totally lame so I'm only doing it now anyways. The Lovely Bones was awesome seriously go read its beautifully written, its engaging, it has ghosts. I won't lie I was sad when I finished it cause the story was over. All the characters are so likable. You will love Susie. Go read it people! Nowz!

Now that I'm finished it though I have nothing to read which makes me epic sad :( I went to Chapters yesterday and honestly wandered around the place for like an hour and like nothing peaked my interest everything seems to be all about Vampires and Zombies, or is drowning in its own pretentiousness, with titles like The girl who never swam and The boy who wore brown ugh. Anyways I'll keep looking!

Happy Birthday To Me!!

Happy 22nd Birthday toooo Meeeeee!!! yes today is my birthday and what will I be doing? going back to school. its not the nicest present but I did get to sleep in and I didn't have to go to work also I get cake afterwards. I have no idea what kind of presents I will be getting as I gave my parents no idea what to get me when they asked what I might like I said...I don't know. I have no idea what Ryan is getting me when he asked me what I wanted I shrugged and said "use your imagination" because I'm nice like that its not my fault! my birthday is right after Christmas! I don't usually want or need anything. Birthdays are never fun for me when my birthday rolls around I'm all family and friended out after having jammed so much time in with them during the holidays and school has just started up again so its hard to get people together. Oh well at least I have cake.

Happy New Year!!

Happy New year everybody!! its 2010 goodbye 00's so what did I do on my New Years Eve? well I was too sick to do anything...yay. But I wasn't alone Ryan was with me and we were sick together. We were invited out but I just couldn't. I couldn't breathe I was coughing achy and fever. I had to keep taking Advil to keep me just barely functioning. Today? well I was supposed to go to a family dinner at Ryan's but I'm still too sick I'm terribly congested and tired and achy and I'm not really in any place to drive and I called Ryan and he's still sick as well and neither of us is very good company too be honest. I'm gonna go over tomorrow I'm sure I'll be feeling a bit better. I am feeling better then yesterday its just yesterday I shouldn't have been anywhere but in bed and I was with Ryan and today I'm still in a place of tired and congested and gross. Anyways hope everyone's New Years was better then mine. This better not be a sign of the year to come...*shudders*
